Cypress Hills Grasslands Art Centre
Cypress Hills Grasslands Art Centre is a multi-use building where you can do more than create art! It is also a place to live while you explore the amazing southwest corner of Saskatchewan. Come on your own, with your family, your friends or your art group.
The Art Centre has been newly renovated to bring you a bright fresh place in which to relax and create art.
Crisp white sheets and spa-white towels await your use. The three students bedrooms have two twin beds. The instructor's room has a double bed. Each person has a towel rack and a special toiletry tote. Also. there are two secure storage shelves in each room.
Art clubs will find this a perfect place to work and relax. You can choose to cook your own meals or have your club's retreat catered.

2007 Art Retreats
The on-site retreats take place at three main locations:
The Village of Consul for the prairie and grain elevator;
Cypress Hills Park - "Where Pines meet the Prairie Sky": and,
Frenchman Valley.
There are other locations to be selected by the instructor such as Eastend "Valley of the Hidden Secrets", the ghost town of Robsart and Pine Cree.
The cost for a five day retreat is $950. This price includes up to six nights accommodation, transportation to the sites, all linens and all meals. Art supplies and alcoholic beverages are not included. A deposit of $425 reserves your place. Bring a friend and you each save 10%; bring your art group of five or more and save 15%.
If you prefer to bring your RV or camper trailer, the cost of the retreat is $825 but no other discounts will apply.
The retreat starts with an Antelope Springs Ranch beef BBQ * Sunday evening. At the end of the retreat, you may choose to stay Friday night before heading home on Saturday (check out is 11am).
All rooms are double occupancy in single beds. There are two student rooms upstairs and one downstairs. Each artist in the downstairs room receives a $50 discount.
For your added pleasure and pampering Swedish massage and Reflexology are made available for two evenings. Bookings to made directly with massage therapist. Name and phone number to be announced before end May 2007.
